Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 May 2026

Key points

  • The Pool Hub is a small independent platform that runs pool competitions, tracks fixtures, and keeps player stats.
  • You must be 18 or over to create an account.
  • Competitions are run by admins, not by us. Entry fees and prize money are arranged off the app.
  • Be decent to other players. Don't submit false results, harass anyone, or try to break the platform.
  • Our software, design, branding, rating method, and ranking system are ours. No scraping, no reverse engineering, no clone services.
  • The service is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and online, but we can't guarantee perfection.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Who we are

Entering competitions

Our intellectual property

  • The Pool Hub software, design, branding, rating method, ranking system, and database structure are all owned by us.
  • You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
  • You don't get any ownership of the code, the algorithms, the data models, or the brand.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, download in bulk, or republish any part of the service or its data beyond what you would naturally see using the app for its intended purpose.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, the rating formulae, or the ranking calculations.
  • Build a competing service using our data, rules, structure, or visible behaviour as a blueprint.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) against the service without our written permission.
  • The frame-level results you generate while playing are yours. We show them to you on your profile and use them to run your competitions.
  • The aggregated rankings, the rating algorithm, and all derived statistics across the platform are ours.

Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time by asking us.
  • We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that present a risk to the service or its players.

Liability

  • The Pool Hub is provided as-is.
  • We do our best to keep data accurate and the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
  • To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

  • If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top.
  • Signed-in users will be notified on their next visit.
  • Continuing to use the app after a change counts as accepting the new version.
